Council would like to advise that works are scheduled to commence on the replacement of a section of Kerb and Channel on the northern side of Callandoon Street, between McLean and Pratten Streets from Monday 10 March 2025 for a period of approximately three (3) weeks, subject to preceding works and weather conditions.
During this period, there will be some disruptions to parking and property access. To assist with these works, the supervisor on site may request that vehicles be parked outside the construction area. Please follow any directions or instructions given to you by Council staff or Contractors while works are underway.
As part of the works, Council is offering property owners the opportunity to construct a concrete driveway from the kerb access ramp to the property boundary. This work would be at your cost, however, at the reduced rate of $75/m2 (inclusive of GST), as the works will be undertaken concurrently with the construction of the new kerb & channel.
Should you wish to have your driveway access concreted, you will be required to enter into a Private Works Agreement with Council and payment will be required before works are undertaken.
