Council’s Range of Tourism Brochures Available for Regional Promotion
Goondiwindi Regional Council is pleased to announce a range of promotional products available to better promote our beautiful region.
If you are looking for something to do, whether you’re a visitor, a long-time local or newly arrived in the community, why not take a look at the great range of NEW promotional brochures and guides showcasing the region. Find them online www.grc.qld.gov.au/brochures or pick some up at your local Visitor Information Centre. You can also get a mobile copy of the latest Visitors’ Guide by texting 0475 111 222.
Nearly a third of all visitors to the Goondiwindi region are friends and family of locals. Mayor Graeme Scheu said, “Every local resident is fulfilling the role of tour guide when their friends and family are in town. We need everyone to have the information to promote the region, organise an interesting and fun weekend, and encourage return visits. Everyone I know that has picked up the guides has found something to do that they did not know about. They are a great resource.”
The premier brochure is the regional tour guide covering the entire region and whether you are a local or a guest in our region, everyone will find something of interest. The additional guides also extend to fishing tips, camping options, pub-crawl suggestions, walking paths, information about the newly renovated Texas Rabbit Works and much more.
Mayor Scheu said, “These products will help us as a community, to better promote what makes our region so special – welcoming communities, quality facilities and unique events and activities”.
