Council Launches New Resource For Local Goondiwindi Businesses

One of the known challenges for local businesses in regional areas is attracting new employees to the region.  We all know that Goondiwindi is a fantastic place to live and work, but convincing others who haven’t lived here that they will love it too is a little more challenging. A new e-brochure highlighting all that Goondiwindi has to offer has been created by Goondiwindi Regional Council, and is available for local businesses to use as part of their marketing to potential employees.

The resource can be found on Council’s website at https://www.grc.qld.gov.au/work-live-love-gundy-life/work-live-love-local

The e-brochure highlights the fantastic community environment, the lack of traffic, the retail and food options, the medical services, as well as low unemployment rates and the great schools we have here.

Councillor David Turner who has responsibility for the Economic Development portfolio said, “This resource covers all the important factors that families may consider when relocating for a new job.  There is so much on offer in Goondiwindi and it is exciting that our businesses, especially our smaller businesses that don’t have the resources to create this information themselves, are able to positively promote the region as part of their recruitment processes.”
