GOONDIWINDI AND WESTERN DOWNS ON SHOW AS 500 CYCLISTS TOUR THE REGION

Motorists, café owners and publicans are being warned to get set for a busy weekend as Bicycle Queensland’s Cycle Queensland Adventure Tour rolls into the region with its 700-strong entourage, including a travelling tent city and 50 support vehicles.

The 16th annual tour kicks off in Goondiwindi on Saturday, September 2 with a loop ride out to Undabri Station before embarking on a further 484km of riding towards Currumbin on the Gold Coast.

Undabri Station will host a BBQ lunch for riders on the river bank, complete with live entertainment and plenty of local hospitality to welcome the riders to Western Queensland.
